A while back I had an amazing weekend getaway out to the Texas Hill Country. Our final destination was Fredricksburg where we rented a house, checked out some galleries and wandered around town.
We even caught a Bob Schneider show at Luckenbach Texas. Yeah… There’s a song about that place.
On the way out we stopped at Enchanted Rock to hike and play for a few hours.
That’s when and where I captured this image of a man pointing something out in the distance to two young boys.
At first glance this image appears to about the arid Texas landscape. It’s not. It’s about people, in a certain place at a certain time. And what we can imagine they see in the distance. As we watch them.
