The bold Austin 360 (Pennybacker) Bridge spans Lake Austin and faces an oncoming wall of imposing fog.

A tree stretches out welcoming the inevitable as the Austin Skyline is obscured in the distance. Highway 360 leads into soft white oblivion.

This image is bold. The curving steel of the bridge juxtaposed against earth water and sky. But there is something very soothing about it.

Fog has that effect. Everything slows down and is simplified. It’s quiet and there is less visual noise and distraction.
