DVDs was created by exposing one frame of 35mm film multiple times. This techniques is called multiple exposure photography.

The base layers are of lit offices in a multi-story building.

The neon DVDs typography was of a Hustler Hollywood sign.

And the final exposure is a Hustler window display mannequin modeling some sexy lingerie.

Apparently Hustler does not like photos being taken of their displays because patrons can be captured through the windows. I was reprimanded and asked to leave when discovered.

It didn’t matter. I got what I came for and no porn patrons were harmed in the process.
