I just recently got back from a trip to my old stomping grounds in Indiana and Ohio where I was born and raised.
I brought a camera but didn’t have much time to get out and take pictures between visiting everyone I could fit in. Most of my pictures were from my nieces 7th birthday which was super fun.
Anyway. I thought it would be fitting to re release a classic midwest photograph for my print of the week.
This photograph was created in 2005 somewhere in Plain City, Ohio and features and old silo against a dramatic cloudy sky.
Here’s the thing.
I try to keep a well organized photo library. For some reason I have lost almost all of my photographs from the year 2005.
This is one of the only photographs I have remaining from that year. Which really bums me out since I can usually go back through my pictures and remember what I did that year.
I do remember I was working a shitty job taking real estate photos. But that’s a story for another time.
So this photograph is all I have left of 2005 from what I can find.
