This photograph is from December 1999 when I was living in Whitefish Montana.
It’s special to me because it’s from a period of my life when I began to develop my love for photography and my personal photographic style.
I had relocated from Missoula Montana to attend Flathead Valley Community College to study ceramics and photography.
One crisp and cold day after class I decided to get in my car and explore the rural roads of the valley.
That’s when I came upon this old skeleton of a barn standing there. I got out of my car, walked around and found the composition that pleased me.
